Client: Africa 95_The Caine Prize for African Writing
Outline: For the 2020 Caine Prize for African Writing; we developed the script, and co-ordinated the delivery of the project produced by award-winning director, Joseph Adesunloye. The video was part of delivering the literary season of the prize, which is awarded annually – and included the production of a booklet of the shortlisted stories for the prize, and audio recording of the five shortlisted stories. Outline: Pitched and was commissioned to write articles on arts and culture, in particular, reviews of 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair and pre-event coverage of the Lagos Leather Fair.
Client: British Council
Brief: Social and Archival Research on British Film Archives on Nigeria (1914-2014)
Outline: We were asked to undertake archival research and indexing of the British Film Institutes substantial archive of films about Nigeria from the 1800s till the present day – and curate a list of 20-40 films that showcased the Nigerian experience, with a focus particularly on the period of 1917-2017, marking one hundred years of Nigeria’s amalgamation and engagement with the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Brief: Business Development Research & Plan
Outline: We were asked to undertake market research and develop a business plan for a prospective content based website aimed at the clients market audience; in particular, the research focused on identifying competitors, market opportunities as well as developing a proposed structure for the organisation, and a soft identification of potential employees or consultants for the product.

Scope: Communications and Administrative execution role for the Diversity & Inclusion firm
Outline: In response to the demand for more ways of reaching black and ethnic minority UK audiences, we produced an index of all titles published by Black, African and Asian authors from the publisher’s existing catalogue – providing this as a search category for the first time on the publisher’s platforms; in partnership with the publisher’s marketing team we developed a booklet listing all the titles which was subsequently distributed to all the Libraries across the UK.
